The Library of Government Model Higher Secondary School Khar Bajaur serves as a vibrant center for learning and knowledge. With a rich collection of thousands of books, reference materials, Urdu and English literature, science journals, and general knowledge resources, we nurture a strong reading culture. Our mission is to develop critical and research-based thinking in students while preparing them for the challenges of the digital era. A peaceful, organized, and collaborative environment ensures that every student has access to the world of knowledge.
Our school features four modern, fully-equipped laboratories: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Science. Each lab offers students a hands-on learning environment where theory meets practice through guided experiments and real-world applications. The Biology lab sparks curiosity in life sciences, the Chemistry lab emphasizes safety and precision, the Physics lab demonstrates the fundamental laws of nature, and the Computer lab equips students with essential digital skills for the 21st century. Together, these laboratories promote inquiry-based learning, strengthen problem-solving abilities, and prepare our students for higher education and future careers.
Government Model Higher Secondary School Khar Bajaur is proud to operate a modern model bus facility, approved and provided by Advisor to Prime Minister Mr. Mubarak Zeb. This initiative demonstrates the government’s commitment to student welfare through safe, comfortable, and punctual transportation. Equipped with modern safety features, the bus ensures reliable daily transport for students from distant areas. By reducing travel difficulties, it improves attendance, minimises stress, and guarantees equal access to quality education for all students.
At Government Model Higher Secondary School Khar Bajaur, we believe education extends beyond textbooks. Our students actively engage in diverse co-curricular activities to build confidence, leadership, and teamwork. In recent years, they have participated in 24 competitions in academics, arts, and sports organized by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. More than half of these competitions were won at the district level, while one-third of the total victories were achieved at the provincial level. This outstanding record reflects our dedication to nurturing talent and preparing students to excel both in academics and beyond the classroom.
Government Model Higher Secondary School Khar Bajaur is committed to delivering outstanding academic results year after year. According to our previous performance record, 90% of our students secure A1 grades, while the remaining 10% pass with A and B grades. Our institution has also earned the honour of securing top positions in the Malakand Board and District Bajaur at the Intermediate level. Furthermore, the "Stori Da Pakhtunkhwa" scholarship is awarded to only the top 20 students across the entire Malakand Board area, and we take immense pride that 8 of these scholarships have been won by students of our school. These achievements reflect our dedication to academic excellence and the hard work of our students and faculty.
